In a late night post on his Truth Social account, former President Donald Trump has warned of “potential death and destruction” if he is indicted by Leftist New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Donald Trump: “What kind of person can charge another person, in this case a former President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a Crime, when it is known by all that NO Crime has been committed, & also known that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our Country? Why & who would do such a thing? Only a degenerate psychopath that truely hates the USA!”

Trump also posted a photo of himself holding a baseball bat with a photo of DA Alvin Bragg right next to his photo.
This kind of thing is not helping Trump, and it is not only dangerous – it’s ridiculous. It appears the New York DA is having trouble getting an indictment by the Grand Jury. So why Trump would post things like this makes no sense. As Republicans consider who would be the best nominee to defeat the Democrats in 2024 and lead the country, it is hard to see how Trump could do either with all this baggage hanging over his head. No doubt, Trump has been persecuted for the last 8 years. It is indefensible the way he has been treated. But he now appears to be showing the effects of that stress, and is acting in a totally unstable way. For Trump supporters, like myself in 2016 and 2020, it is difficult to watch. But it is imperative we not let the Democrats skate to victory in 2024. The potential candidacy of Gov. Ron DeSantis is looking more and more likely – and necessary.

Trump is seeking a rematch against President Biden in 2024 and previously used heated language ahead of actual violence — most notoriously on Jan. 6, 2021, when he told thousands of supporters to march on the Capitol and “fight like hell” to prevent certification of Biden’s Electoral College win, which they proceeded to do by smashing into the building and battling with police.
Trump shared the image of himself holding a baseball bat — with Bragg’s hands up — on his Truth Social platform Thursday as he devoted his day to attacking the prosecutor for pursuing a case over the “hush money” payout to porn star Stormy Daniels. The bat image was pulled from an article that he shared but was not removed.
He kept on raging until the early hours of Friday with continued incendiary name-calling. . . . “
