CBS News reports that the Federal Grand Jury connected to Special Prosecutor Jack Smith’s January 6 investigation into President Trump will meet at 1pm ET today. They report this could be the day Trump is indicted on charges related to the January 6 riot. He announced earlier this month he was informed by letter that he is a “target” in the investigation, making eventual indictment likely.
If so, this would be the third indictment of Trump in the last few months – all after the Election season had begun. At some point, you would hope most Americans – no matter how they feel about Trump – would say, “This is obvious Election interference.”
