This is a big poll for Republicans, with some key information embedded within it. A new American Greatness / InsiderAdvantage Poll has Republican Adam Laxalt leading incumbent Democrat Sen. Catherine Cortez-Masto by 6 pts., 50-44 as Election Day approaches. That is an improvement of 4 pts. for Laxalt since InsiderAdvantage’s previous poll.
In the latest InsiderAdvantage poll of the U.S. Senate and gubernatorial races in Nevada, the Republican candidates are maintaining their leads over their Democrat opponents, with the help of independents and Hispanics….
White voters preferred Laxalt over Cortez-Masto 50 percent to 45.8 percent, and black voters preferred Cortez-Masto over Laxalt 73.3 percent to 26.7 percent. Those of all other races (mainly Hispanic) broke for Laxalt 56.7 percent to 27.8 percent. A large number of these voters (14.4 percent) had no opinion or were undecided, and 1.1 percent preferred another candidate….
“Voters who identify as independents and Hispanic/Latinos are breaking heavily in favor of both Republican nominees,” said Matt Towery, Chairman of InsiderAdvantage.

It’s very significant that Hispanics are breaking so heavily for Laxalt. Will that be a trend across the nation, and not only in Nevada? If it is, it will be a huge night for Republicans!
This would be a pickup for Republicans in the U.S. Senate. They only need to net a 1-seat gain to regain control of the Senate. This would be one. If Republicans can’t hold onto Pennsylvania, they would net to pickup 2 seats to take back the Senate. It’s shaping up to be Nevada and Herschel Walker in Georgia as the best pickup chances. But the GOP also has a shot in Arizona and New Hampshire.
By the way: The InsiderAdvantage Poll is ranked the second most accurate Poll by RealClearPolitics new pollster rankings. So this is a great poll for Adam Laxalt and the GOP.
