Israel is at War with Hamas. Overnight our time, Hamas has launched a massive, murderous assault on Israel. Several military checkpoints have been overrun, and Israeli towns taken over by Hamas terrorists. Israeli soldiers have been captured as well. Hamas claims they have launched 7,000 rockets from the Gaza Strip at Israeli targets. At least 22 Israelis have been killed, with hundreds injured.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Israelis in a video statement, “We are at War.” Netanyahu vows Israeli will be victorious and will deal Hamas a response they have not seen before.
