Ron DeSantis. This on the eve of what is expected to be DeSantis&#8217; entrance into the race next week, <a href=\"https:\/\/freelyinformed.com\/blog\/report-fl-gov-ron-desantis-to-enter-presidential-race-next-week\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"582\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to new reports<\/a>. It shows just how much work DeSantis has to do to overcome the lead Trump has amassed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Months ahead of the first 2024 primaries, former President Donald Trump leads his would-be challengers for the Republican presidential nomination by a substantial margin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 62% of Likely Republican voters would vote for Trump in the primaries, while 17% would vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Several other announced or possible 2024 candidates have single-digit support among GOP voters: Former Vice President Mike Pence (6%), former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley (5%), former Arkansas Gov.
