It is yet to be seen if he can get the 217 votes needed to win that vote. Fox News just reported on air that Scalise got 114 votes in the GOP Conference meeting, with Jim Jordan getting 99 votes. Scalise needs to get assurances he can get those who supported Jordan to come over to his side on a floor vote.
